Reefer containers are used for transporting temperature-sensitive cargoes. These mainly consist of foodstuffs such as meat, seafood, dairy products, beverages, fruits and vegetables. Non-food items, like live plants, photographic film, chemical and pharmaceutical products are also commonly transported in reefer containers. |
